Verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, he shall have whatsoever he saith." God has His way of saying His truths, so let me mention one of them. True story.
This church needed to expand, but the only extra land they had, was right behind the church, and it was a mountain of size that would require heavy equipment and great expense. Out of the question.
Then a man came and said a large shopping center was going to be built in the area, and they would need lots of fill dirt. Would the church sell the dirt behind their building? The deal was made, and the mountain was moved. And not only that, but the company paved the area they had leveled. And I heard of another where an earthquake split the mountain.
The mountain doesn't have to be "cast into the sea," as God puts it in Mark 11:23. It had just as well be cast into the fill for a new shopping center. So don't twiddle about the little things. Just believe.
And that's the way God takes care of persons who tithe, even from low income. My income in my late years is Social Security, and although I have the same expenses as earlier... a car, a home with utilities and all that were always there, there just hasn't been a problem. King Solomon said he'd prefer to be not too poor and not too rich, and he was right. The rich have their problems, and theirs are much larger. So let well enough alone!
It's amazing but true; when you tithe ten percent, the 90 percent that's left lasts longer. And prayers and thanking God help.
