It was Yogi Berra who said it: "When you come to a fork in the road, take it." He was serious in all the odd things he said, as I am as I quote him. It's so easy to choose Heaven as your goal. Just believe. That Jesus is the Christ. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved!"
I put in the exclamation mark. Now let me take you past the fork in the road... although the heavenly choice is easy, it's even easier to make hell your forever. You choose, simply by NOT choosing. If you don't accept the Lord as your Savior, you take the way that's too awful to think about. And in fact' most people take the wrong road because they just don't want to think about it. We want happy thoughts, so let's party.
Either way' you don't have to pack your bags. There's a commercial on the air, in which a man is carrying a huge load of baggage, and as a voice tells you how great it is to use their product, pieces of the baggage keep falling away. But neither Heaven nor hell will load you down with necessities; it's "come as you are."
But may I take sides? Hell can't be imagined... who knows; you may hear the sermons of those who warned you; maybe even prayers by your Mom, but it's too late. Take the Narrow Road to "where there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away" (Revelation 21:4).
I don't even know you and I'm pleading for you to choose wisely. But God knows you, and wants to love you into Heaven. Think about it.
