|THERE'S NO PROBLEM HE CAN'T SOLVE

On May 22 of this year, 2017, I suddenly sneezed, and it seemed the top of my head
was exploding. From one to ten, the pain was a ten. It covered my entire brain area. Then as soon as the sneeze was over,
the pain was completely gone. I found, over a period of time, that this was the case whenever that type of pressure was put
on my head.
Of course I put myself in my
prayers. Also, three x-rays were taken of my head, but none showed any sign of a problem.
Being a veteran, I decided to check with the VA. I told them of the
terrific pain, and they gave me an appointment over a month in the future…which is in line with their reputation these
days. And when I finally saw them, no one else was waiting ahead of me. Still, I sat for some time before being seen. They
recommended a cat-scan and a MRI, but said for me to see my own doctor again for those tests. Washing their hands of it,
so to speak.
I got the
ball rolling for those tests, but before the second one came up, one morning, my head no longer had pain. I was ok, and I
considered it God’s healing. We know that God has His own schedule, and time is not a factor with Him. My Dad had
cancer for seven years, so the world could see that it was so, then healed him instantly one morning at church. There could
be no doubt among those who didn’t want to believe in God’s healing power.
I cancelled the MRI appointment July 10. Did God wait in my case,
too? I feel He delayed, to show that when all is said and done…He is the One. Thank Him with me.

I’ve noticed that some of my Conquest articles have taken on a new complexion since my wife
went to her new home. I don’t feel the same about passing from this life to the next. I like to use the
term “The Promise” that the Lord gives to everyone…that Christians will immediately be with loved
ones who’ve gone on, when our turn comes.
King David used that consolation we see in 2nd Samuel 12:23,
after his son by Bathsheba died; “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” And of course Jesus
showed the same comfort to us, as He hung on the Cross, when he told the thief hanging beside Him, who had become a believer
there, “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
I’ve written about that in an earlier article, but for those of you who didn’t see it, I’ll give
my interpretation of those words by Christ. “Today” means now…assuring us that we won’t be
put in a waiting area until some time in the future. And “shalt thou be with me” means that He will go to
the same place with this person who’s dying at His side.
And the Bible clearly shows that the word “Paradise” and
“Heaven” are the same place. Revelation 2:7 is enough to convince us: “He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which
is in the paradise of God.” And the tree of life serves double duty, also indicating that we’ll eat the
best of foods in Heaven.
The only ones who
should fear death, are those of you who haven’t given your heart to the Lord. I beg you to take care of that,
at this very moment. It’s the only time you’re guaranteed.
