Picture it. A man, under
conviction for his sinful past, is at the altar in a little church, and folks are gathered around him, praying. The man listens
as a Christian tells him that all he has to do, is confess his sins to the Lord, and ask forgiveness for the life he has led.
But the man still remembers his friends at the bar down the street and the things he doesn’t yet want to give up.
He shakes his head again, and at that moment…
The Rapture! Half the people in the church disappear! They just seem to lift upward and float through the ceiling in their
new bodies…changed in the twinkling of an eye, just as Christ had promised the day He disappeared into clouds, leaving
His apostles staring after Him.
Gone! But the sinner who had shock his head "no" a moment ago, is still kneeling at the little church’s altar,
but all is silent. Until a scream, as it dawns on those left, realize…too late…that their lives had been weighed
in the balance and found wanting.
Folks…thank God this has not yet happened. But it will happen, and could happen before you hear the rest of this Conquest
article. And what kind of world will those find, who are left. A world of people who have laughed at Christians. Catastrophe!
The wind-down to the end of this world. The mark of the beast, or starve. Seven plagues…grievous sores…everything
in the sea dying…drinking water turned to blood…great heat scorching all. Darkness everywhere…earthquakes…seventy-five
pound hail…men wanting to die, but can’t escape…and the book of Revelation tells of even more terrible
Then John, the apostle who foresaw all this, says, "And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted
up his hand to heaven, and sware by Him that liveth forever and ever, who created heaven, and the earth, and the sea, that
there should be time no longer." Those in the Rapture will escape all this. If you aren’t prepared, don’t
miss it by a moment. Talk with the Lord…right now.
