Well, I just have to admit it. The world has passed me by. If I change phones, I have
to read a book to find out how to operate it. If something goes wrong with my recorder, I don’t get it fixed…I
get a new one. Because it would cost more to have it repaired than the new one costs (if I can find someone who knows how
to fix the old one). And there seems to be a remote for every piece of equipment, so you don’t have to get up to operate
it. But of course you must read the book on how to operate that, too.
It’s different now, even in our churches. But I must admit that although young Christians today may
be tattooed, dressed outlandishly, with music so loud you can’t hear what they are singing, they worship tearfully,
with hands upraised, and God is no respecter of persons. We must have that same attitude. Remember, Christ said, "He
that is not against us is on our part (Mark 9:40). And the Apostle Paul said, "whether in pretense, or in truth, Christ
is preached (Phil. 1:10).
click, and as much as I love milk, I probably wouldn’t like milk straight from the farm because it’s been so infiltrated
now with stuff that’s supposed to be better for you.
When I was a kid, the comics had Buck Rogers flying out through the universe, and Dick Trace had a wrist
radio. Impossible to our minds then, but old hat now, and we’d probably be scared now if we knew what they’re
working on for our future.
when Christ will come back for us. You know what I think? I think we humans will get to a point that WE cause God to set
the date for Christ’s Second Coming. We’ll get so smart, and so close to unraveling God’s secrets, that
He’ll just say "That’s enough…blow the trumpet."
My friend, those who are predicting His soon coming have good reason to be prophesying. If you’re
not ready, do it right now. Don’t risk another hour. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye. Maybe in the next......(silence).
