I’ve told my wife, that when she forgets where she’s parked the car when she’s out shopping, to push
the panic button on her key chain, and as soon as she hears her car, just push the button again, to get the nose stopped,
and she’s ok.
But I’ve just gotten another panic button tip that’s as good or better than my idea. And that is, to lay your
keys beside your bed at night, so that if you hear someone trying to break in, push that panic button and your car will start
alarming the neighborhood for you. If it’s parked out in the open, that’s even better, but even if it’s
inside the garage, it will un-nerve the would-be burglar and will send him packing. Because he’ll know that you’re
also calling 9-1-1 and the police will be there shortly.
I’ve always had a knack for making things out of wire coat-hangers, and with Velcro, but this panic button takes
the cake. Keep it in mind.
And I might mention that if you don’t know Christ, it’s time to push another panic button…this one in
your mind. Because if your life ends (and it can at any moment), the consequences will be even greater than a mere thief’s
shenanigans. Because we’re talking forever on this one.
The Bible is very clear that there is a Heaven, and there is a Hell. And each is for eternity. If you think it’s
too hard to live right, according to His Word, remember that whatever you put up with in this life…turning the other
cheek to those who do you wrong…remember that in comparison to the forever you’ll spend with one of those choices,
is a wisp of smoke in comparison.
Make up your mind, and talk to Him about it now, wherever you are. He isn’t picky about your time and place. Just
Do It.
